A NGO that believes in a brighter future of the Ukrainian youth
Danylo Kurliak Foundation is a nonprofit organization integrated by volunteers from Ukraine and Argentina who share a mission: to improve the lives of young Ukrainians by providing them with world-class technology training opportunities, and thus equipping them with tools they can use in shaping a brighter future for themselves.
The foundation’s main efforts so far have been on the creation and implementation of a 3-year program of study which focuses on the development of IT skills nowadays essential to look for job opportunities worldwide. The programming syllabus includes topics such as Scratch, C, Arrays, Algorithms, Memory, Data Structures, Python, SQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Flask, and Emoji. In addition to learning these concepts and tools, students have the opportunity to study English as a Second Language, another essential skill to access the global job market.
Because we are optimistic and ambitious, and because we believe in our mission, we have more goals for the future, including the following:
- Ensuring the wellbeing of our students by providing social and educational assistance
- Looking for new sources of funds and partnerships
- Recruiting volunteers who would like to be part of our projects
- Sharing information and experience with relevant organizations
